Work bauble

A bit windy and wet today - mostly windy with occasional wetness. There is an orange alert covering the whole department with a stern warning from the government of potential damage and asking people to be careful and minimise outdoor activity.

The dog had a short walk in a dry spot. The wind doesn't bother him, but he doesn't like things moving or making a noise - he'd only a little dog and gets scared when things happen he can't understand. Town was very quiet and other than one slate hook that had come free I didn't see any damage or stuff blowing in the wind.

Today's blip is a red bauble with work's logo printed on it. I arrived a few years ago in an xmas parcel, and it's okay on the tree. In front of the bauble out of focus are a pair of stainless steel mittens my wife bought in the US - and are the oldest decorations on the tree being at least 25 years old.

Today I will mostly be staying in doors and staying warm with a mug of tea.
