Schtop! - Intermittent Sunshine on Leith
Nae ticket for the last game of the season against the Celts. The view wasnae the best....couldnae see a thing. Somebody put the wrong colours on today too!
Scotty Brown scored and both sets of fans cheered. Pah!
Dad: "Now remember, don't go any further than that. It's very steep and you don't wanna fall over the edge do you? What would happen to you?"
Jacob: "I'd be died"
Dad: "Yes, that's right"
Jacob: "...And the sharks will eat me".
See the parliament.....well....hung about there in the sun during the afternoon. I'm really starting to "get it" now. The ambience appeals in the sunshine.....the water, the grass, the coordination of the "features"..... I reckon most Scots will "get it" eventually.
The cost was a stinger though. Having been in France recently and seen the Louis' efforts and what that must have cost at the time it still seems that in Western Europe we allow those with control of the country's dough to spend it on exhuberant pleasures. However - if it still turns the tourists on in hundreds of years time then the outlay dough ain't so controversial. I hope the upcoming politics in the place can now match the modernity of the joint.
