Okay this is going to take some explaining...

Think back to the first time you watched 'Back to the Future' and you will be just fine.

You may have noticed that recently I tend to upload a few day's blips in one go, even though I religiously make my photo on the right day and always have done. For me cheating on Blipfoto should be an instant ban! No right of appeal ever.

Tonight (even though I'm actually uploading this particular post on Sunday) I edited and uploaded my photo from Friday evening. Today the weather has been hellish with wind and rain all day, so I decided not to do much apart from a brief and uneventful trip to Asda.

So that left me with the challenge of producing an interesting shot for the day and then I had an idea. I thought you might like to see my original RAW shot from Friday and then the edited version before I uploaded it.
Both shots were made on Saturday today (even though that is yesterday as I type this) to conform with the rules, but they were shots of my Friday photo.

Anyway the main shot is the RAW file and the extra is what you saw on Friday although you didn't see it until later because I edited and uploaded it on Saturday.

On the off chance you are interested I did the following:
In Camera RAW I increased the exposure and contrast, lifted the shadows, dropped the highlights just a touch and increased the blacks.
Into Photoshop to level things up a tiny bit using the strongest horizontal (sometimes I use the strongest vertical), tidied the back wall, cleaned up the chewing gum and litter and lifted the pavers a bit more to highlight the reflections and again increased the contrast to give it a bit more punch as I always do with my street art shots.

And Bob's your uncle!

If you are interested knowing more about my workflow and how I approach my editing, that's a shame because I won't do this again unless you send me to the top of the popular page. So I guess that's the end of that then?
