Rosie

I'm trying really hard to dissuade my family from getting a dog. My biggest point is that between the five-yer-old, the six-year-old, and my very busy husband, yours truly will be taking care of hypothetical pup. And I was never into dogs to begin with. A few years back we had a dog, one with his very own stubborn brain, and he was hit by a car because he was way too independent. I just don't know if I have it in me to allow another dog into our home, much less into my heart. I love other people's dogs, like Rosie here, a nine month old yellow lab. She's adorable and the kids really enjoyed her as we visited, but it's just a whole other story when it's yours, ya know?

But then again, if I don't want little critters sabataging my garden patch, I know I will have to relent at some point...
