Poinsettia

I did make a brief foray to the supermarket this morning after a very cold and windy run, but then just last minute Christmassy preparations . The day ran away with me and before you know it it’s too dark for outdoor photography.
So  I got the tripod out and did a few indoor macros. Neither of us could remember how to do some things on the Olympus. Me because I’m lazy and use my phone too much and LooseCanon because he doesn’t do much photography at all these days despite having a better camera than I have now. 
Anyway, the centre of the poinsettia is where the flower action all takes place, those big velvety red bracts  are just for showing off.
