Christmas holidays begin

I'm rather behind with blipping - going to try to catch up over the next couple of days, but we're quite busy.

This morning, we actually managed to scatter some seed - yellow rattle and other seeds - in the area we are hoping to develop into a meadow.  Then we packed, cleaned the kitchen, and set off for Dublin.  Quite glad we weren't in a hurry - the M50 around Dublin was (as is often the case) very slow, sometimes stationary.  I really rather resent paying a toll to use this road!!

Dropped the car at the long stay car park and took the bus to the airport.  We've a night at one of the airport hotels before our flight.  No photos until after we'd eaten an overpriced dinner in the hotel restaurant.
