Christmas Crib
A nice start to the day when Bom called round for a cup of tea and a chat. Later we drove over to Sheringham for a walk along the sea front and some fresh air. And boy, was that air fresh! A very cold wind in our face while walking in one direction but not so bad when we turned around.
The town was busy with nearly all the fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours and amusement arcades open, presumably in the expectation of pre-Christmas visitors. From what I saw they wouldn't have been disappointed. The Crumble Crib, which replaced a seafood stall whose owners retired and now serves takeaway fruit crumbles, was doing a roaring trade and people were queueing to get into the local carvery. Hopefully it has turned itself around since the one star hygiene rating it got last year.
I've added a couple of extras because I have a few left. A view of the sea which could well be described as 'raging' in a Mills and Boon novel. And the local butchers in festive mood.
