Thank goodness it got better.

We have been up north to deliver some presents, and pick up dad as he is with us for Christmas.

We left at 7:30 but the snow was coming down thick and fast. We were expecting an awful journey, but it soon stopped and in actual fact we had a very good journey.

Spent the morning with my in-laws, Mr H sat with his dad while I took his mum to Lidl! Not as bad as it could have been so close to Christmas. After lunch we tried to go and see mum but the care home has a lot of a nasty chest infection virus lurgy so they are asking people to only visit if they really have to. Much as would have liked to see her, as a lifelong asthmatic I didn’t want to take the risk so I left her present there and we went to collect dad.

Very windy on the way home, but didn’t disrupt us too much. All  now settled back at ours, fed and watered and resting before the activities begin tomorrow.
