New Skills

Gardening today, the course has built in ‘workshop’ days and today was one of those.
A relaxed day in the poly tunnel making a door wreath, plaiting the willow and decorating the circle with items from the garden, my first wreath and quite happy with the result.
Candle making, who knew how simple, although there are refinements I can add to improve the candles which I’ll probably have a go at home. The result from today can be seen in the extras; I await the “Fork Handles” comments.
Despite the burning car at Playing Place on the way home I was in time for the RNA Christmas Raffle, not the dazzling wins this year but happy enough with my success. Tot of rum with my friends, couple of beers and home to Mrs S.

This is going to be a long week.
