600 food hampers!

This morning Ros & I, plus about 20 other Rotarians helped to pack 600 Christmas food hampers.

Quite an operation...exhausting too! We were glad of a cuppa and a mince pie inour break.

They will be distributed to 600 families in Workington, Maryport, Cockermouth and Keswick.

So hard to believe that there are families in real need in 2024...just like in Victorian times.
