Failure

The owner of the yacht which was stranded yesterday went out with a friend at high tide this morning to try and tow it off the bank.  However, yesterday's high tide was 12.22m and today's was only 11.71m, and however, hard the outboard motor on the small boat was revved, it could not shift the yacht which remained stubbornly aground.  After about an hour of trying around the time of high tide, they gave up and left the yacht stranded. A quick check on tide tables suggests if could be several weeks before there is a sufficiently high tide to float the yacht again.
