Cast down in Liverpool

It was a long day. Barcelona on the way, as there were no direct flights, and then mucho delay with plane swapping and waiting for crew etc. but the boys and I had fun in the bumpy journey. Howling winds in the Pool, we were swept into Anna’s car. Anna had amazing ox cheeks and mash all ready for tea, then we leapt on the train to Central. People from the same flight looked a bit shocked as we appeared at Cressington station.
The O2 academy was like stepping back in time to a dads’ and sons’ reunion, Anna’s ex neighbour John Power at front of stage egging them all on.
What a cracking start.
