Collage of Colour

This morning I went out early to get a few presents. It started to get busy when I was making my way home. So I timed it well.

I iced the Christmas cake this afternoon and made some shortbread. I used a new recipe.. so hopefully it will be okay. 

I thought we were going to my oldest son's place on Christmas day. Just found out today they all coming here. Wish I had known sooner. 

A friend I made on Flickr called me this afternoon. It was lovely catching up with her. She lives in the North Island and I haven't seen her for a number of years now. A lovely surprise.
