1982: Chemical contamination prompts evacuation of Missouri town

Quote Of The Day
"The Vietnam veterans got a huge settlement. There were a lot of people I know who were exposed to the same stuff and more - and didn't."
(Steve Taylor)

I have been suffering from terrible back pain for almost one week now so I went to Kobe Sauna and Spa for a massage and to relax in the spas. I also enjoyed a delicious Caesar Salad and Green Smoothie in the restaurant. While still not 100%, my back does feel much better now.

After leaving Kobe Sauna and Spa, I took a walk down to Meriken Park where I took this photo of the roof of the Kawasaki Maritime Museum.

The video I linked to two days ago of a plasmoid reacting to a woman talking about God and Jesus has really got me thinking. I discovered that in 2015, Dr. Massami Teodorani published a book called The Hyperspace of Consciousness, in which he posited the idea that plasma could be intelligent. This interview with Dr. Teodorani gives an idea of what the book is about but, unfortunately, no booksellers seem to have any copies left.

I am intrigued by the possibility that, if Teodorani's theory is correct, then it could provide a scientific basis to scripture. In 1950, Hannes Alfven devised a "plasma cosmology" that challenged the Big Bang Theory. However, if the universe did exist as plasma before it began to cool down, thereby causing the unbound negative and positive electrons to bond with atoms and molecules, then plasma is the oldest substance in the universe.

In John 1:14, we read, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." We could interpret "the Word" (Logos) as the unbound protons and neutrons in plasma that even exist in the vacuum of space, and "the Word made flesh" as the electrical impulses within our muscle cells and neurons. Because of quantum entanglement, the receptors within our brains could receive messages transmitted from beings on the other side of the galaxy, according to Dr. Teodorani. Is the plasmoid which reacted to that lady's words a verification of Dr. Teodorani's theory? It's a staggering possibility; she could have been speaking with a manifestation of the voice of God bound into the fabric of the universe, or an alien being on the other side of the galaxy.

While researching Dr. Teodorani's work, I stumbled across this video which explores how experiments conducted by the anesthesiologist Stuart Hameroff has lent support to Roger Penrose's controversial idea of Quantum Consciousness. Basically, Penrose believes that computers that simulate the brain with neural networks will never acheieve consciousness because consciousness resides not in physical networks but in quantum waves. Most scientists disagree with this theory, partly because they are heavily invested in AI, but also because quantum computers are highly unstable and need to be kept at minus 459 degrees Fahrenheit, so quantum waves could not survive inside the human body. However, Hameroff has conducted experiments which provides a lot of evidence that quantum waves do exist inside the microtubules that are found inside the cytoplasm of all eukaryotic cells (that is, organisms whose cells have a membrane bound nucleus, such as animals, plants, fungi, seaweeds and many unicellular organisms.) The D.N.A. of eukaryotic cells resides in the cytoplasm. The D.N.A. of prokaryotic cells such as bacteria is found in the nucleus and prokaryotic cells do not have microtubules and so, one assumes, no consciousness.

If consciousness is quantum in nature, then this could explain the double slit experiment and wave particle duality. It could also provide a scientific explanation for telepathy and remote viewing, all resulting from Einstein's "spooky action at a distance." And now Google has developed a Quantum Chip which has profound implications for the Multiverse Theory.

It's an exciting time to be alive.
