100% true, but I would also say, having worked for Facebook for nearly 3 years, that Sheryl Sandberg dressed like that on purpose. EVERYONE else was in company branded hoodie, T-shirts. I started off in my usual heels & dress attire and I swapped it pretty quick! Their culture really does not like non-conformity.

MZ was always referred to as Mark, but she was always Sheryl Sandberg. She definitely wanted that psychological distance from the worker bees.

In any case Sheryl really had Facebook over a barrel for years, because they couldn't be seen to fire the "Lean-In" lady.
