Temporarily a Christmas statue

Jill and I went downtown to meet some friends who were in town with their kid to ride the scenic railroad. Ponch and Paolo rode, and we met with Lydia and looked around thrift stores downtown. This statue is in front of the train station.

When the train returned, we dropped her off at her car and gave them our address. They met with us and we ordered dinner. It was nice. Ponch and I worked together in Austin, Texas, over a decade ago. He's now at The Washington Post.

It was nice seeing them again.
