Not the final shop
Today was meant to be the final shop stop but of course it wasn't. I'll be going into town again tomorrow. You think you've got everything well planned and on the list for a delivery, but somehow life just doesn't work that way. Not even if you have a fairly unlavish Christmas as we're doing.
So it was a quick trip into town and back before the hairdresser. And I bought a ton of stuff so we're better off than we were. But...
Of course I took the camera with me, vaguely thinking I might get a shot of the Christmas Market being packed away, but visually it wasn't that exciting. I must say they do it fast though - I couldn't believe how much had already gone. Talked to one of the workers who told me he was going to be spending Christmas Day in a plane flying to Australia, accompanied by a new baby. I wished him luck!
So instead you have a shot taken in the cathedral. This is the north east corner of the building looking into the Guardian Angels Chapel. Aren't the repeated shapes soothing? I went in there to light a candle for my mum, who loved the place, and actually found myself feeling a bit too sad. Am I a shade tired? Probably. Better open the Harvey's Bristol Cream tonight!
Enjoy your evening, all xx
