Just getting prepared for our neighbourhood carol singing tomorrow, a tradition that I’ve managed to keep going for more than 35 years. The carol sheets have been rained on, snowed on, dropped in puddles, blown away, rolled up, but somehow they have survived. Thanks to my amazing friends and neighbours we always manage to send a tidy sum to the local hospice. Door to door carol singers seem a rarity these days so I really want to keep the tradition going round here as long as I can.
