Beside the road

A backblip from Sunday. It was quite late in the day when I went for a walk with the Pentax. After some hours in the garden. It had been a very warm day, although nothing compared to the heat wave hitting Australia. I had set out with the intention of getting a photo of the repair to Scenic Drive. Two large subsidences of the road edge had occurred during a massive rain storm in January 2023.

On the way to the repaired road, my attention was caught by the bright purple of the flowers in my blip. I have included two photos of the road repairs.
