The view from Whitehills
Hubby and I took the grandchildren to Whitehills this morning for a wee paddle and a picnic. It was a lovely sunny morning with great views across the Moray Firth.
The play park there is one of the best I know. Whitehills has benefited from a proactive community council that's made good use of the community benefit fund from the wind farm at Boyndie, one of the earliest in Aberdeenshire. The village is well worth a visit if you are up this way!
We had a truly memorable day, watching Lola and Louie having so much fun. Fortunately we missed the thunder and lightning and heavy showers that affected inland Aberdeenshire throughout the day.
I do like these long weekends!
