Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . to draw a veil

I have to say, it all got a bit too much for me today. 

I ventured into the big supermarket in Castle Douglas to do the last minute shopping.   It was not a good idea because it was heaving with folk.  I found myself right in the middle of all the things I hate about Christmas.  I really should have known better?!

I put it down to the fact that I've been under the weather for a while now with a bad cold that has taken away all my energy and enthusiasm  - for anything much.  Anyway - I came home, put the shopping away - and went to bed for a nap.  

Tomorrow is another day - and hopefully it will be better than this one . . . . . . . !
