Second Time A Charm
I made an effort to go out a second time when I saw the sky light up. As I hoped, there were reflections in the icy patch along the shore. I had scoped it out earlier, so I knew approximately where to go. Such foresight, most unusual.
I made two frames for exposure, but in the end worked from the darker, underexposed one. Keeping the colour in the reflection was a challenge as I raised the exposure of the snow. I found the object selection tool to be the best way.
Lovely warm light trickling over the rocky mounds of snow and across the lake. A satisfying result.
