Icing on the cake

Had a couple of neighbours in for coffee in the morning. They’ve been away for a few weeks in their newly acquired motor home so fun to catch up on their travel experience.
Then busy doing a round of packing and clearing up before we head off for a few days. Last job was to finish icing the cake - luckily I’m not a perfectionist, and just happy to get it done. It won’t get cut till after Xmas.
At 5pm we loaded up the car and hit the motorway heading south. 7 hours later we arrived at my sister in laws house in Devon. Bed.
