Fringe benefits

It was raining stair rods today when I attempted to get a lunchtime blip. That and the sudden appearance of a plethora of posters means only one thing. The dreaded Festival Fringe will be coming to Edinburgh soon and it is time for me to leave the city for as long as possible. As you can see from the posters it seems everyone is a comedian, and the advertising is all very organised these days. But that's just the big venues pushing for the maximum number of bums on seats, I'm sure there are acts out there worth seeing that get swamped by all of this stuff.

If only they could get an audition.
