Weird giglfts

That was a typo.
But a weird gift has to have weird spelling.
This is an air ‘freshener’ in the shape of a car that comes with a bottle of candy cane - or something similar - scent.
The quest foremost in my mind is - who comes up with this stuff? And how and why.
