The Lull Before Christmas

My birthday is over for another year and Christmas Day is only two days away. So it feels like something of a lull in the chaos of two days that have so much importance placed upon them.

We went to Woerden to get some things from Hema (a Dutch department store) as I got quite a few gift cards from there for my birthday as since Caleb gave me a coffee machine, I've been left with a load of gift cards to buy other things with. So we got coffee papers for the new machine as well as a few other things. I had to order bags for the vacuum cleaner because the shop Caleb bought it from has gone bust and they've gone into clearance. The shop had been virtually emptied by previous customers.

We then came home and spent the rest of the day relaxing at home. I spent some time finishing off downloading all my e-books onto my new Kindle Paperwhite (see the extra). It took some time as I have a lot of books and I was so pleased when it was finally done.
