River Gelt
The River Gelt rises in Cumbria on the Northumberland border and flows west. South of Brampton it cuts through the red sandstone and the river turns red.
Today we returned to a favourite 4 mile loop through Gelt woods, we used to run this loop regularly to gauge fitness and recalled the lung bursting Strava segments as we walked around today.
Have a great Christmas and happy new year to all.
