The Rail Trail

I have spent a lot of time in Upstate New York over the past 6 weeks. Today, I walked the Rail Trail in Vestal, NY, my old stomping grounds.

This is one of the markers on the trail. It is a reminder of the history of the area, and an awakening to those who walk the trail thar we must never forget those in the past who gave up their lives in the name of technology.

Folks died during the development of mass transit, yet many railways cease to exist in the 21st Century.
