Christmas Eve

This must be my favourite Xmas decoration of the year. We spotted it at Fountainbridge as we walked along the canal to the Meadows for some pre Christmas exercise.
This morning I visited an old friend who unfortunately fell and fractured his hip about 10 days ago. He lives alone and think he enjoyed the company. He spent 10 hours on a trolley at ERI before being found a bed in the orthopaedic ward. He’s now got a new hip and seems to doing pretty well at home after a stay of 4 days.
