Keeping warm

This eve "Paramoni Christougennon" t.i. Christmas Eve ~Merry Christmass to you all, Blippers! And I wish we'd live a Peaceful Christmas all around the world. 

 All day was wintry here on Crete and Greece. Rainshowers and snowfall in the mountains (see extra) It was late in the afternoon when I managed to get away for a walk thro' town, where the streets were rather quiet, due to the time of the day plus the wet weather. Not much merchant for the chestnut seller either and as I bought a bag with chestnuts from him, he also accepted my photo request.... ah, and he stays warm behind the little stove on which he warms his chestnuts!
I gave him his print on January 6th when I found him on this spot again after Theofania ~ his chestnuts were almost finished and he's to take a holiday... so in time I fulfilled my promise
