Christmas in Saintes

We prepped a few things as were having friends round for dinner tonight, then went into Saintes to see the Christmas Park, and met our friends for cocktails.
The bar closed a few hours earlier than usual, so we were chased out, and one couple decided to go home instead, so there were just four of us back at ours for oysters, prawns, langoustines, whelks (I don’t eat those) and crab claws, followed by moules et frites, cheese and then champagne jellies. As I’d catered for six there is plenty over!
