Grasmere

There was a reasonable weather forecast yesterday morning, so we planned to climb Blencathra today, by this morning, the forecast wasn't as good, so we sacked off Blencathra in favour of Wansfell (much lower). By the time we left the house the cloud layer was getting ever lower, so our second revision was a walk round Grasmere at low level.

Parked in the village and walked round the north side of the lake. By the time we reached this point (near to the boat house) it had already started raining, but at least there was no wind and great reflections. Didn't take long until the rain had set in. We managed to finish the walk, but were very pleased that we'd revised our original plans.
