Christmas Eve

I had a drive down to Craignure first thing in the morning to collect our last organic fruit and veg orders of the year. While I was delivering them to friends in the village I was called upon to assist with a flat tyre. Finishing my deliveries, I returned home to pick up Nick, our mini compressor and a battery to power it. Although Nick couldn’t fix the puncture, he was at least able to provide sufficient air to get the car and its owner back home.
After a bite to eat, a tidy up in the kitchen, and a walk with Bertie, it was time  for the Christmas Eve service at our village church in the late afternoon. There was a good turn out and the singing was wonderful; the rafters were well and truly lifted! My blip shows one end of the church with our Christmas angels and on the communion table the Peace candle and the Advent candles are lit. The extra shows one of the decorations that adorn each window sill. Several years ago, a lady in the village used old books to produce several ornamental angels and trees such as this one. Each Christmas we bring these out and later pack them away carefully until next time.
I’m sending happy Christmas wishes to all my Blip friends, near and far,  around the world. I enjoy your daily blips, and long may we all continue.
