Colors

I wanted to walk by the ocean today, but I was a good citizen and heeded the warnings to stay away from the path. Authorities are very concerned about the dangers of big waves, wind and high tide.  By afternoon it was bright and sunny and blue so we walked downtown instead, with some vague idea of getting an egg nog latte. Coffee Shop A was closed, and Coffee Shop B was overcrowded, so we turned around and came home and I took a nap instead. It was the kind of day where a nap was more fun than a special coffee.
