Christmas Advent Calendar

42 years ago I made this advent calendar. I hadn’t done applique work, but learnt how to .A girlfriend and I both had toddlers, so littlies would play, and we would sew. There are 25 little toys etc , that stick on with Velcro.

My daughter had it on the living room wall today. I did have a tear!!! Family traditions are so important.
