It's (almost) Christmas!

An early start with a rush to the pharmacy to collect a forgotten-about prescription, followed by a quick rush around Lidl & Morrisons for last minute bits. A couple of presents were dropped off, the last of which to one of my Aunties with whom we stopped for an hour for a natter. Will see her again tomorrow at my parents too.

After that it was time for a tidy up, another group effort with my task in the matter being tailed round by 'Henrí', disturbed only by some friends dropping a present off - not stopping as they were in a rush but showing off their gorgeous little puppydoggo - a timid but adorable Yorkshire Terrier/Shitsiu cross *^_^* (will blip a picture of her sometime soon if I can get a good one!)

At some point eldest managed to slip out unnoticed and youngest noting the absence of a Christmas Tree (Grinch here nearly got away with it), frogmarched me to the loft to retrieve it (it's not a real tree - the alive one lives in a pot in front of the house & is lit every season)

I made tea whilst they picked a corner of the room to put it up in. Broccoli & Cauliflower in a cheese sauce with some pan fried Mushrooms on top. Was very nice & soft as advised by the Dentist...not youngest's thing though so she had soup & crusty bread. Was hoping to have a late videocall with bestie but being close to zonking out asleep early in the evening, my contribution to conversation would soon have been all about the letter Z but I hope we can catch up for a natter tomorrow!
