Christmas at the holly bush
A traditional place for our Christmas Day walk is up to the holly bush, which sits below a hairpin on the forestry track on the hill behind our house.
There were plenty of berries on it today, but the ground around it looked very much wetter than it used to be - perhaps a reflection of the fact that this year has been the wettest year we have had in our 32 years in Glendaruel.
My extra , taken at that spot , is Cathleen with the dogs ,
Yesterday evening we went to the Children;s Nativity service in Kilmodan Kirk and started our celebrations there , as my second extra shows. Later today we will have friends in for Christmas dinner itself so let me also wish a very Merry Christmas to everyone who drops by this journal - thanks and I hope you enjoy it from time to tiime.
