Merry Christmas Parkrun

We were up and out before light to set up the Christmas Day Parkrun. 134 folks turned out, many in festive outfits, and there was much exchange of Christmas Greetings, laughter and hugs.  After the first of four laps, it was so warm that Christmas jumpers and hats were being discarded.  As is usual with Parkrun there was a convivial atmosphere and folks tarried after their finishes to swap plans for the day before heading off to begin them.


Meanwhile, Euan slept in till his usual time despite his excitement of Christmas Eve.  A message came through with a photo of him opening a present and a later one of him operating his train.

My blip is of regular runner/volunteer Nicola, Run Director Dave and his mini helper grandson Otto, Carolyn doing her first Parkrun and Mrs Santa Wendy.

Now we relax and wait for the arrival of Jen and Pete.  Merry Christmas everyone xx
