A very unusual Christmas Eve

It is 24.12.24, and I got in first and beat all my date buddies. Ha! It happened when I went to create a folder, which I named with today's date.

I struggled to get in today. So many things kept going wrong. I was able to drive myself though, which is always a treat. And then the team went out to lunch at a Pakistani restaurant that none (but one) had eaten at before. Amazing! It is one of the oldest restaurants in Dubai. We managed to get a quick group photo before I dropped two of them back at the office and came home. I now have until the new year off!

G has said the sofa bed feels very hard, so we went to IKEA to get a mattress pad. They had just the thing and it was reasonable as well. I didn't fare so well in the evening and had to stop and rest.

I was determined to post a new video for tomorrow though, so even starting at a late hour and finishing at 1:30 AM, I accomplished what I set out to do.
