Christmas Walk

Jak the mad spaniel needed a walk, so we ignored the Christmas festivities took a walk down round Hartley Woods and back via a field.  I haven't walked through these woods since we lost Mum, so it was good to visit again. These are not the most photogenic at this time of year, but there was a nice display of teasels among other seedheads in the field.

Having worn Jak out, we headed back for a peaceful afternoon and my sister and I dug the water colour paints out and painted some bookmarks (mine in extras). It was then time for a lovely Christmas dinner cooked by my sister and BiL ... we are now all stuffed!
