Sally Mair - Loving life

Ready and Waiting

I was so tired on Christmas Eve that I fell sound asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow, so I'm blipping a day behind.
As always the 24th was a day of hectic wrapping and of wrapping up the list too!
I popped into church to drop something off for the Christingle service, which went very well - an attendance of around 80. As always the flower arrangers had done a wonderful job.
When I got home I cooked the pigs in blankets and put them away ready to be warmed up for lunch.
I prepared the turkey to put in the oven in the morning and made a batch of mince pies.
The evening was spent wrapping, a brief break for dinner which was a couple of half price chicken curry dishes I'd picked up in Tesco.
All is well, the cradle is empty for the last night.
Tomorrow the fun begins, what isn't done isn't and what is, is.
Happy Christmas everyone.
