Christmas lights

I have been past this house during the day but tonight was the first time in the dark. As we took a picture we put some money in the charity box which is for the Salvation Army.
A busy but relaxing day.. Christmas morning service followed by refreshments in the church hall. We have never done that before and it was lovely with a lovely atmosphere. Lots of people stayed.
Yesterday we picked up a car ful of surplus mince pies from Aldi . They wanted to give us more and we had to firmly say no. Took half to St John's and we kept the rest. Weave out to all the neighbours in the ministers road, the care home opposite us and a friend for her family and we are taking some to Cornwall . The last night we picked up 80kg of food from Tesco which we put out in the church hall today. Mist if it went and we are opening the church tomorrow to give others the opportunity to take some too .
Walked to a friends house for a couple of hours.
Matt phoned this morning 3am in Canada and he was on a night shift, then Adam phoned this afternoon but I was asleep and tonight Christie phoned .
All in all a good day.
