Out of the Blue

The frost was so heavy I thought it had snowed but sadly not. It was just cold.
Never fear, we wrapped up well before going for a Christmas walk along the Ammer, around Dietlhofer See and then home; at more than three hours that was a bit more than we’d planned for or else we’d have had more than just mimosas for breakfast. We had the latest brunch ever as soon as I could defrost some rolls!
P&A came back around for Part 2 of the festive wurst feast and did not bad as most of the meat is gone and they took a tub of potato salad home with them. I was looking forward to us playing some games but sadly they didn’t stay all that long, the12-year old professing to be tired. Ho hum. But S and me played OuiSi for the first time then moved on to the memory cards. A drawn game, honours even, we called it and finished watching a film.
A quiet day then but not at all bad. Hope everyone else had just as nice a Christmas.
