Julian’s Cell
It was a new venue for the Norwich Open Christmas this year while restoration work is being done on the medieval halls so, not being sure of where I was heading, I arrived early and parked up. I realised I was near St.Julian’s Chapel so went to visit her cell and had a brisk walk before starting my shift. There were all the usual jobs plus all the trimmings, enough washing up to last until next year, serving out, clearing up, footie with Brussel sprouts across the kitchen floor, a pregnant woman called me over to say she was having contractions, took her to reception where a drunk bloke had just punched the paramedic, police, ambulance, bingo, the cathedral choir, Rick’s fabulous fruit cake, about 400 folk and then the helping out with transport at the end. Knackered now.
Happy Christmas Blipmates! Xx
