"the eliminator"

Aaron was following the success of "muckmedden" with "the eliminator" but numbers were lower than he thought they would be. It was more of an all out downhill MTB event than is my taste so I was very happy to be marshalling rather than biking. Also very happy to be up near the top where they were just slaloming down the face of the bear (Newburgh folk will understand that statement) before dropping through the forest and out into more slalom over a barley field. Most crashes actually happened in the barley field section as the grid there was so poor.

I had a fine day in the sun, blew my whistle every so often to warn folk more guys were coming through but sadly didn't get an icecream
