11 Years A Blipper
Well here we are again, another ‘year’ (or a multiple of 365 days) as part of this fabulous community. It is lovely to follow other folk around the world and see what they are up to. I am always grateful for all the interaction on my own journal and for all the ‘glitter’ sent my way. There are some wonderfully talented folk on here and I have learned such a lot, not just photographically, but also from all the links posted and all the ‘investigations’ that occur after seeing something in a journal…who knew for example, that caminolgy..(the study of all things chimney related)..was a thing!
Unfortunately, because Blip ignores leap years, in the last 11 years my anniversary date has now moved back from 29th December to Christmas Day, which makes finding a blip photo a bit of a challenge, especially as we are staying with our daughter. I did find a few moments to point my camera through the bedroom window, towards the church in their village and as I am up at stupid o’clock on Boxing Day (05:00), I have some time to post this as a ‘backblip’. I may be in catchup mode on other journals when we eventually get back home.
We had a lovely Christmas Day..lots of excitement and nice gifts..and some time to sit and play games. I think I will busy making models and scenery in the next few months..our son bought me a load of craft materials to get me started on this.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas celebration (if that is your thing), or just a nice rest if it is not.
