Tables are set!

Merry Christmas everybody!
Exhausted but content after serving Christmas dinner at the open table at one of the local churches. As per usual, Charles ran the kitchen, assisted by our youngest son, while I helped with serving the food and chatting to the guest. We never know how many come through the door, but I think we had around 65 people. There were lots of volunteers and it was such a lovely atmosphere.
Once back home, the three of us, and the dog. just relaxed in front of the fire, watched Wallace & Gromit, and had a good chat over some smoked salmon and cheese. What's not to like about this!
