Christmas Day 2024

The view of the lovely log fire at dear friend Trish's cottage. This was where the day with festive lunch and good company was to be.

 Started quite well, with messages to the grands, doing a bit of computer admin before popping over to to collect Sue as we were going to a dear friend of ours for the day. Must admit I didn't feel my usual self as my stomach had started to grumble. 

Unfortunately it finished up with me making a drive back home, it would appear I had a tummy bug. The rest of my day was spent in a comfy chair with the TV on, and a large jug of water to hand to refill my glass, feeling very sorry for myself. As I am typing this on Boxing Day I can report that I am feeling a bit better, with no rushing to the loo.
