Hedge cutting

Trees on the right are ours. Every year parish counciputs out notice to all house owners to cut back their hedges protruding over pavements & roads. As we aren't in the village, there is no pavement and the road is a 'state' rather than parish one, it doesn't apply to us. 

However, the 'state' has required us once in the past to cut ours back so that HGVs are hit by branches & once did it themselves. However no sign of any help this year, so had to do it as best as possible myself.  Will probably need to get a contractor next year.
