Resident Blackbird

She's appears as soon as she hears the satsumary door slide open. A shake of the mealworm tub and she's there. 
For several years we had a male blackbird with a white marking next to his eye. He became very brave and came to be fed wherever we were in the garden, front or back, or in the field with the hens. We've not seen him since last year, but it would be nice to think this a relation of his!
